Skanderbeg

Skanderbeg, Prince of Epirus, went after one of his soldiers to kill him until that soldier, who had humbled himself and begged to try to appease him, decided in the last resort to face him sword in hand.

Skanderbeg, a very good and expert judge in such matters, was wont to say that ten or twelve thousand reliable fighting men were sufficient to a good leader to secure his regulation in all sorts of military occasions.
